Does anyone know if you have to pay for the return of test drive equipment or not

I found it was great too. I’m thinking of using it again but the lens I’d like to hire isn’t available yet so I’m having to wait.

For others thinking of using it: The only ‘cost’ is lending them the security deposit for a few weeks. Delivery was easy. Collection was a doddle as they include the return packaging and postage. I got full 2 days hire as they delivery the day before the first hire day (as long as you don’t book the 2 day hire for Monday and Tuesday) and collect on the day after the second hire day. My hire days were Saturday and Sunday so delivery would be the Friday (actually delivered on the Thursday as they phoned to say they couldn’t deliver on the Friday and asked if delivery a day early was possible) and collection on Monday.

I had the R5 when it first came out ... really needed more than a couple of days with it though. It was only after I had returned it I realised the camera was in crop mode the whole time .

So if the item breaks in your 48 hour period, would you have to pay for it ?

it is tempting to hire 3 high end products to try out but it seems risky to have that much value in your hands

You pay a refundabl;e deposit to them - whether they would charge full rrp or not I dont know - but if you elect to buy one subsequently you will be holding that value in your hands anyway

I've used it 4 times now. Each time trying different gear, which is part of the deal, you can only try each item once.
They had an extra long test drive over Christmas so I had the RF15-35 for 10 days for free.
Can't fault it, especially for a free service.
