I'm been given an old canon flash - speedlite ez

i want to get an omnibounce style diffuser for it but nowhere stocks them anymore, i was hoping that it would be the same size as a newer model - the end measures 39mm x 700mm and is 703mm at the widest point (the middle)

somewhere i read that its the same size as the newer 430ex model and was hoping someone could confirm this

cheers

You could make a DIY diffuser from a milk bottle until you buy one, and don't forget ceiling for bouncing.

550D would have some trouble with EZ flashes. They were designed for older film cameras, and are no longer supported with digital. In the best case it will work in fully manual mode. Ebay it if not sure.

What he said ^.

The present is a nice thought by someone, but it's not designed to work with the EOS system.

Well - it's really designed for the early EOS Film camera's - the ones of a similar age to the EOS 5 iirc (1992 or thereabouts) and EOS 1n (1995). I know by the time we get to the EOS 3 film camera (1998) it was working with the EX range rather than EZ's
/pedant mode off
