Canon Selphy CP810 Problem

Hi there

Has anyone tried installing the Selphy CP810 dye sub printer? Ive been trying most of the day - Ive tried two different male a to male a usb cables (incase) and I've tried 3 computers. Two with Windows 7 64bit, and one XP 32 bit,

In each case the installer gets to a point and waits to see the printer, and it never does.

Has anyone succeeded in installing this printer? I've used it straight from cards up until now, but thought it would be useful installing it.

Using it with an iMac and MacBook Pro no problem. I know that doesn't help with a Windows problem but can't imagine there being any real issues.

Thanks Jim, and the answer is.... to totally ignore what i read in an amazon review.

It now works (you go all day and then post on here, and solve it 5 mins later).

I use it on site at weddings for 4x6 prints for my Honeymoon Albums and it's perfect for that. Small and quite fast. - in fact just like an old girlfriend

id not thought of that, im using it for keyrings and fridge magnets at charity events. - might even try it at wedding evening do's as there is so little business coming after weddings at the mo
