Hi, can anybody say what this camera is like I've read reviews but could anybody tell me about video quality and the my colour modes are like. I'm also intrested in the selective colour mode 'B/W with a area of colour' i'm sure you know what I mean. Any photos would be alot of help thinking of buying this over the Panasonic fz18 mainly because of better video control. :thumbs:

I have one. Those noise on the images at anything above ISO 200 is absolutely terrible. The functions of the camera are great with some really helpful tools packed in like the live histogram and the gimmicky face detection.

The focal range is rather good but it does lack a little at the wide end.

I've not stumbled across this selective colour mode yet as it isn't my main camera so it is left at work 100% of the time.

Video quality is quite good... i haven't used it a huge amount either as i have a few DV cams to hand.

Thanks HybridUK, for the info shame about the noise issue, still tempted but leave it on ISO 80 or 100.
