Canon RP

I am thinking of buying a Canon RP and am planning to part exchange some equipment. I plan to exchange exchange a compact Canon and a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens for the RP and buy an older model Canon 100-40. Would buying an extender work on the 70-200? All help welcome.

The 70-200 will work fine on the RP with an EF/RF adapter, and will also work fine when coupled with any of the EF extenders.

It won't work with an RF extender with the EF/RF adapter in front (with the lens on it) as the adapter doesn't have a wide enough opening to accept the protruding elements of the extender.
