Just thought id post this if anyone is interested .A couple of weeks back i got my 5d mk111 back from canon repair centre at Elstree.
The repairs took two weeks and they replaced broken mirror box assembly and shutter unit.
Adjusted,checked and cleaned and tested.
Calibrated auto focus to spec.And a few other bits and pieces.Came back looking like new and the price was under £400.00.
I was well pleased, After having read somewhere that older cameras were not being repaired by canon anymore .
Also does anyone know if the benro b-2 ballhead with arca swiss plate will take the L bracket on my 5d3 .
