Canon Repair

These are still available new aren't they? Might be worth getting a repair quote from Canon themselves.
Repairs can be very expensive, an excellent condition unit can be picked up for £125
Ebay used
I had to do a double take at that price, sadly in the description it says it the lamps work but it won't flash. Most fully working second hand ones normally go for £300-400 so probably worth getting repaired.

You could give Don Clarke in Wootton under Edge a ring and see if he can sort it. I have been 3 or 4 times for repairs and they have done what they said they would do, when they said they would. Screenshot 2025-05-02 at 08.24.30.png

It is a pain in the rear that you cannot upload pdf files here! I have posted a link to the parts and manual for the flash here. If you decide to try it yourself, the manuals and parts list might be helpful for the disassembly.

Thanks for this I would rather someone deal with it first but if I cannot I will give it a go myself thanks so much for the pdf file it looks as it is on a sort of jack plug from the right hand flash so it might be just of come lose from their fingers crossed
