Is there a better printer to print from a canon camera ?

Sorry not to be more help - but we need more info:

What size
What quality
What audience
What volume
What speed
What purpose
What lifetime

Etc - sorry, but fill in the blanks and you'll get some good answers ! I also notice you are only on 3 posts - so welcome as well !

Firstly, thanks for the welcome.

I am on a budget of around £150 - £200 and am looking to upgrade.
I don't print much but want good quality reproduction of my images. I assume as its canon it would be a good compatibility with canon camera images (maybe I am living in dreamland with though?) and I print from as iMac.
Thanks for your help

I use Canon Pixma iP4500 and 4850 printers but only for occasional prints. I prefer to use DSCL for small client orders except for wedding reprints where Onevision fulfil my orders through Zenfolio.

Quality is very good for inkjet but remember they don't have the longevity of dye sub.

canon is good, but for that money you'll want a dedicated 8 ink photo printer I think
ip4xxx series is good but less than 80 quid
also genuine inks and the decent canon paper will give you the best results imho

if you don't print much then it's FAR better I think to order them online.
photobox (not the best) but I use them for convenience do next day delivery
better to get a ip4600 or whatever and use the extra money for when you want really good prints, from ,..loxley or somewhere maybe
even my local ASDA does proper exposure printing on fuji paper at 40 pence a go 8x6 or something
