Ricky, Thanks for your comments. It wouldn't be in my interest to let let any buyer down if a problem should arise. I personsally guarantee anything I sell in 1st year so be sure you have no worries. I appreciate your business. I know it wasn't you that was worried in the first place but thought I should mention this anyway. Camera will be with you either side of weekend. Will be in touch. Regards Ian.

Hope this helps some of you until kerso can get back to reply..:)

If it's any help I got a faulty 50mm 1.8 from Ian and he replaced it very quickly with no hassle at all. I realise it's not quite the same league as all the gear you are after but I was impressed with his attitude and quick delivery of a replacement.

Hi Guys, Here we go.
All lenses I sell have Canon 1 year International warranty with them so should be no problem if a problem arises for Canon UK to repair. All Canon bodies have only Canon USA warranty, same again Canon UK SHOULD repair if there is a problem but I can't 100% guarantee that. I think it depends who is on the phone at Canon when you call! The only items that shouldn't be sorted in UK are the grey imports from HK as they don't have Canon warranty at all. Thats why they are cheaper as they have to go back to HK for repair unless the seller gives some extra warranty. With bodies I can get Mackcam worldwide warranty for about £15-£30. Hope this clears things up a bit.
I do however guarantee anything I sell for 1 year. I am hoping to be selling Canon UK bodies soon and be competing with the big lads. Regards Ian.

Sorry had to charge 3% on the body to make a profit. Ian.

I forgot to ask Kerso about the warranty last night, I did get a definately "Yes" to Visa via paypal though....

Unfortunately he adds 3% to the total to cover Paypal fees... which is totally understandable but pushs the deal futher away from being the bargain it first appeared.

Off Kerso its £1500 for body, £120 for Grip, £20 postage, £49 PP fee = £1689

Off WHE its £1749-£200 for body, £150 for Grip, £8 postage = £1707

A total saving of £18 which unfortunately makes the deal less appealing due to the NON-UK warranty issues... So I am now waiting for Ians response to my Warranty questions, Im also asking if he can do anything with the price If i was to buy 2 bodies (wouldnt mind a spare spare) before ordering tomorrow.
