Canon & Nikon Mugs

And one for the proper togs.

 for the first 2 shakes - then again the water was bloody boiling & straight from the kettle :p

Ah, a lens with a hot spot!

Just to show what the 24-70 thermal mug looks like with an original Nikon 24-70mm lens..... Obviously the original is on the right & is set to the same 50mm distance as the mug...

If you unscrewed the lid then these are almost identical in height....

I might get the Nikon 70-200mm VRII version mug - then maybe I will get the actuall lens itself a wee while afterwards..

 Like I did with the Nikon 24-70mm mug

I've actually got the Nikon 70-200mm VRII now - so am now looking out for the thermal mug to match...

Canon users, of course, are lucky - they need only buy the mug because when fitted to the camera it performs as well as the actual lens!

Get these mixed up (whilst shooting at night) and you'll end up with half a pint of boiling tea all over your sensor.:eek::eek:

Even the rear cap on the mug is the same as the 24-70's....

Seemingly there's a new ( 3rd generation) version out, which is even closer to the lens in appearance....

How peed off would you be if you where out on a shoot and puller a mug out of your bag and realise that your lens in sitting in front of the computer!

I think you'd be more pee'd off if you poured boiling water into your lens ;-)

do they leak?

where is the best place to buy

do they leak?

Only when it had boiling water straight from the kettle & then tipped up side down.... But after that initial 3 sec's - Not anymore.....

Its a lot better & looks alot more like the 24-70... The only slight difference is the "24" is further round but apart from that its NICE
