Argos selling the Canon MP140 printer for £27,99. Not bad for an everyday printer.



Even better when they give me the MP190 as they weren't looking :)

You do know your warranty is invalid however on something like this i suppose it doesnt matter. Good price for a good printer.
 
I'd imagine that as in the UK the warranty is usually through the retailer and they think that he has purchased an MP140 it may be difficult to get them to repair/replace/refund a MP190.
 
If you read the Argos page it does state "You may receive model number MP140 which is a substitute of a higher specification" which means the MP190 may be the substitue :)
 
not a bad substitute though!

not sure how the warranty would be affected, the reciept from agros says

"Canon all in one photo printer" with no reference to model nos :)
 
But this will reference a product code which if they reference it against your printer then they will find that the two do not correspond. Not a bit loss and if it does break probably not worth the hasstle of taking it back

this is true - ive only replaced my printer cos that broke, HP 5552 thats last 7 years :) so even if this lasts two years, bargin! :thumbs:
 
Just claim any repairs through Canon . I don't think that they know the Argos codes ???
