Only if you paid less than £20 for it. Otherwise they're too slow and too low a capacity.

so will be in remote places
ill have a 32Gb card and a 16Gb
i took 3200 photos last time so 80Gb should be enough

I have a M80 mate and think its pretty good and honestly don't find it particularly slow. I personally also find the 80GB enough for me. I put 2 x 16GB and 2 x 8Gb CF cards on to it with no issues. I only use it has a quick way of
Getting a back up copy of my images whilst out and about. once I am home I transfer images from my CF cards to the mac, carry out my back up procedure and once happy I have at lease three copies of the image I format the M80 freeing up my 80Gb for next time.

cheers
ive read mixed reviews but mostly good
but better to get 1st hand info on it

It transfers from CF at an amazingly slow 4MB/s. That means a teeny-tiny 4GB card will take 1000s to transfer. That's over a quarter of an hour! You say you transferred 48GB. That would take 4 hours! The Hyperdrive Colorspace UDMA will do the same in around 20 minutes.

And it only transfers to a PC at 7.5MB/s. So it would have taken over 2 hours to transfer those 48GB.
