Canon Lens recommendations

I'm sending the body off to A.J.Johnstone Photographic Engineers, these some dust on the mirror too and I've nothing to suggest it's ever had a sensor clean, so it's going to have a general service & clean up :) Seller has offered to contribute to this cost so that'll have to do. In the meantime I'll be cleaning up all the accessories over the weekend and waiting patiently for the body and lens to turn up... although patience is not something I am renowned for :D
 
50D up for sale in classifieds, sick of the sight of it frankly - I can't abide the smell of smoke, so it's gotta go. Missus got tired of me moping about over it, and we need a camera this weekend, so ordered me a 7D. I'll have to sell loads of stuff & be really tight for a few months to pay this one off, but at least I can take a few shots at long last!
