Canon Lens Question

I have a 600D and want to use a 50mm 1.8 mkii EF on it,The previous owner had a couple issues using the combination but as the APS-C camera uses EFS lenses I have avoided using the EF lens, My search suggests that the combination works, Anyone know more please.

Any EF or EF-S lens should be fine on your 600D.

I Had assumed it was simply that an EF lens on a 'crop' camera was the problem,I'm not sure of specific issues but remember the previous owner (absolute novice) saying focus and flash problems,I have a 5D Mkii and the 50mm works without issues,Regards,BJ

I have used my 50mm on both my 650d and 70d with out any issues at all
