Canon Lens Mugs

i have a nikon , but the cups are really cool. might get one.

i would love to see some explain why they cant take photos . because the picked up the
mug instead of the lens.

I have x2 24-105 and x2 70-200

Theyre ace and i just had to have them once id seen them

Is the inside plastic or stainless steel? Looking on eBay there seems to be different versions, some with a metal rim showing even with the lid on.

With the nikon 24-70 mug, that's a proper thermos rig rather than a mug? It looks like a proper screw top?

The 24-105 that has been linked to on ebay is plastic inside - gets fairly hot when holding :(

Be interested to hear if the 70-200's are the same?

I guess that the right hand one is real... am I correct?
 
The one on the right is the mug, scroll up to the pic where he has the pens in and look at the distance between the words 24-105 and the focal distance window.

To me the L looks like it's the wrong typeface (a bit thin), also the rubber strips don't fit quite as well...

Definitely not for the 24-105 - the lid simply rests on top - doesn't really clip in at all.
 
The one on the left is the real lens and the one on the right the mug!

Melissa - that is the one I am looking at.

I've just sent a question to the seller asking if the lid screws on making it air tight and if it could be turned upside down.

The one is "supposedly" 4th generation. All that probably means is it their 4th delivery of them.
