Canon Lens Mugs

i bought a 24-105 cup one as a thank you for a friend - a little bit gimmicky to be honest, but was a cheap enough little gift that did the trick.

depends what you're looking for out of it

I got one of the 24-105's as a birthday pressie..





Annoying thing was the mate who bought it for me stuffed a bag of sand in the thing to take it up to the weight of a proper lens, put it in the lens bag, and into the box from the real thing... Then had the cheek to ask for the packaging and lens bag back when I'd unwrapped it and been thoroughly pranked :lol:

Look for seller batterybusiness on the bay , they do the cups for about £20 shipped. To be honest the quality of mine is really lacking, ie it's a bit crappy :D

I've got a nikon 24-70 one, it's very good, comes boxed as per the lens and everything

I ordered mine last night from Ebay for £10.23 delivered, for the 3rd generation one with flower lens cup. I'll let you guys know what its like when it arrives.
 
I snapped this earlier today and sent it to a few friends asking them to tell me which one is real and which one is the coffee mug.

Of the 2 that have replied so far, they have both got it wrong, lol! Mind you one of them is a Nikon user... :D

How are you finding the mugs Simon?

I like mine - got it from the same seller as you. But they get flipping hot! You have to hold them by the thin strip of rubber if you are using them for any length of time with a new brew in....
 
I've never drunk from it! I use it as a pen holder and the lid makes for a good little coaster :)

My brother is getting the nikon one for xmas this year, suitably weighted with chocolate's, now who wants to part with a Nikkor 24-70 box??

To France, it took about 2 weeks. I thought that was quite quick as most stuff I seem to order from China usually takes about a month.
 
I recently bought one on Ebay as a present for a mate's birthday. It took a week to arrive from Hong Kong. It looks really good too, well worth the price.
