Canon lens help

Yes it will work, but consider the Canon 70-300 IS - that is a blinder!
 
Hi Steve,

If you're looking at this lens for macro work, be aware that 1:2.9, 1:2 is not true macro, more like close up, true macro should be 1:1 or closer.

I have a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM for sale with a lens hood. £300 + delivery if you are interested. It is about 9 months old in immaculate codition, boxed. Have no use for it now I have a 100-400.

Couple hundred at the moment. Selling some other toys that I dont need or want anymore so will be after they have gone. Would like to spend more but I need a new laptop too.
 
I would go for a Canon EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS. £194.95 at Warehouse Express at the moment although they are not in stock. If you go to Jessops they should match that price. My local Jessops always does with no problem.
 
Thats the one Steve. I have never had a problem with Jessops price matching Warehouse Express. The process is speeded up if you take a print out of the WE page with you.

Another +1 from me. Had this lens for a short while, before L fever took over. It was a superb lens and did me some good close ups. Can point you in the direction of them if you want a look to see what it does.
