I recently bought a Ixus 75 in Hong Kong as an upgrade to my Powershot 550 (I have a 400D as well, before I get lambasted!!
). It seems like a great little compact, but I currently have the following problems with the screen:-
1) 2 dark 'spot like areas on the screen when I am looking to take pictures, but which doesn't seem to appear once the shot is taken and played back - could this be something on the lens that would be unnoticable on the cameras playback???
2) Potentially a stuck pixel - would a stuck pixel be noticable on the screen when the camera is switched off, as this is, or could it just be some dust or something??
I bought the camera with a 12 month Hong Kong warranty - has anybody ever returned goods to Canon Hong Kong, is it fairly straightforward???
