Hi all. Hope someone can help. Having massive issues with my printer that is really starting to cause me problems now when printing multiple images on an A4.
So, the problem: the printer appears to be thinking it's printing on an US letterhead size paper as it cuts everything off at the bottom, and moves it onto a second sheet of paper, or I get the message 'image is too large for paper, clipping will occur'... which is complete tosh as when I go into the image/image size in photoshop, it is set to an A4 size. I assume it's thinking it's letter sized, as it's cutting off in about the place I would expect it to...I don't have any margins set either, at least not to my knowledge. Same thing happens with pdf's, printing from adobe, and even image preview/windows preview.
What I've tried: All my print settings are A4, everywhere... my defaults in the printer properties, my software, the lot. I've even gone so far as to create a new 'form' in the printer server properties reflecting an A4 sized page. Still, the same issue. I've checked the lot.
So, my conclusion, there is something somewhere that is over-riding my default settings, but I don't know if it's the printer, or the computer.
I'm running windows 7, and the printer is an IP7250.
Anyone have any ideas? I know of someone else who had this same problem with a Canon printer, but never resolved it. My husband has a Canon upstairs, and never had this problem.
Thanks in advance.
