Hi to all i have a canon ip7250
i want to attach to an apple iMac g5 early 2005. model, power pc 8.2
it won’t accept the driver software saying the archtecture is not suitable.
is there any way around this i have exhausted the internet to no avail

But have you contacted Canon??

I`ve always found that either an e-mail or better still a Phone Call have always sorted out any problems, very helpful Company.

Probably not, I'm afraid :(. G5s use a very different architecture from Intel Macs and it's unlikely that Canon would write drivers for machines that haven't been sold in a decade.

You might just be able to get it working as a generic printer but I really doubt it. The only obvious solution would be to attach it to another computer and then share it to the Mac.

i have been away from my computer due to work commitments
i have tried canon and they say there drivers only support intel computers
i am going to research the gimp print site
i will report back if it works
