Ok I am thinking of adding to my canon 1 series set up.
I have a 1DS MKII and a 1DMKKN, I am thinking of getting the 1DMKIII but how much better is the ISO performance when compared to the 1DMKIIN ?. I dont want to spend all that money if it's only a little better. Other then that it's hang on a see what Canon bring out over the next few months, if they do.

I got one!

now it's been tweaked by Canon, I'm happy with it, I am totally happy .... hmmm .... not 100% but it's a dam site better than it was!

I've posted some bike photos in the Motorsports section.

I'd offer to let you get your hands on it and take some shots but my father is in hospital having Open Heart Surgery so am not available for a couple of weeks!

If you're getting a blue spot, brand new, serial number greater than the problem ones, then I'd say .... get one!

When it nails a shot, it's bloody marvelous!

Carl.

But what about the ISO is it a lot better then the 1DMKIIN or only a touch.

You pleased with it or is it giving you problems? Thinking of buying one of these myself.

Wow that looks nice, have you any shots at that kind of ISO that are taken indoors.
I will be using it for my Wedding shots, and want to see how much better it is then the MKIIN.

This shot is with the MKIIN at ISO 1600 and also filterd with N Ninja.
It was a very dark Church though
