Canon G12 or Olympus E-PL2?

hello
i am thinking to buy a camera and i am very confused which one to choose:
Canon G12 or Olympus E-PL2
I have read reviews and viewed all the specs of each camera and still cant decide which one to choose.
i am will mainly use the camera to photograph objects that i make and outdoor landscapes,(and i will use sometims to record outside videos)
I am looking for user friendly camera,with not so complicated navigation.
also i can change the lenses of the olympus which is a plus,
but can you give me the pros and cons regarding the standard lenses that each of the camera comes with (canon 28-140mm, olympus 14 - 42mm)

I think that the Olympus will blitz the Canon for image quality...

I think that there can be only two reasons to get the Canon, the zoom range or the fact that it's a bit more comact, but for image quality I don't think that it will match the Olympus with its much bigger sensor plus as you said you can change the lenses too.

I bought an EPL1 and love it - the canon would be good if you needed the longer zoom in a compact body.
