Canon FT

Pointless question of the day. I replaced the mirror bumper on my FT and, as Canon buffs will know, it involves removing the lens mount. All pretty straight forward. Only I seem to have ended up with two tiny brass washers. I didn't spot them initially, and have no idea where they came from. But there only appear to be two. Any suggestions as to where they might have been fitted?

That's very helpful. I'll study those.

.... And now fixed. Looking at the diagrams it's plain where they both go. Although why and what they do is another matter.
