glad I didn't open this at work
so then 430exii is great, light and fully compatible with your 60D
the 580exII is great, but very expensive.
unless you need to use it as a flash master or need external power, then it's not needed.
but the catch light card if very handy. I used to use an elastic band and some photocard on my 430ex to simulate it
on the cheap the nissens are okay, but they just don't feel as good
not tried them for compatibility. the next option is younguou flashguns...however, you spell the name!, £110 is for an equivalent to a 580exii. won't be as good but a third of the price.
if you want to stick with canon and aren't too demanding the 430exii is excellent I think, and reasonable 2nd hand if you're not flush

I use ebay for a lot of my stuff
also in the traders section you'll get some good prices from reliable merchants
yes, you'll need some posts before you can start buying on here as mentioned above...it doesn't take long at all, once you start commenting on people's pics etc

It means Not Suitable or Safe for Work. It's normally used for threads with content that you wouldn't like on your screen at work. The iphone app has a tendency to put it as default on threads that are started.

Here is better but until you have access, you won't be able to get in to have a look. So if you can be patient and wait 60 days from when you registered and you have made 25 meaningful posts, then the classifieds will be open to you
However, you may get in there and there will not be a flash available for sale as the majority of sellers are selling their personal gear.
