I picked up one of these (for even more of a bargain price).
I have tried Canon 1.8 / 1.4 and 1.2, the Sigma 50 macro & 1.4 and the Canon 50mm Macro - this (for my money) is better than all of them by a country mile.
If you don't need autofocus and you don't need the hazy bokeh of the Canon 1.2 / Sigma 1.4 wide open I'd get one of these!
