I own a 40D and I have managed to lose the software CD that came with the camera. I am after a copy of the EOS Utility so that I can update my camera's firmware. Canon has been less than helpful. Can anybody help? Many thanks.
 
Thanks. I have tried the Canon site but the EOS Utility is an update programme only; ie, it needs the CD to progress past first base. Canon say that it is a licence issue but then agreed that the EOS Utility is only of use to people who own EOS cameras!!
 
You can buy the complete set of original software disks and instruction manual from the EOS Magazine website. Cost is £9.30. Problem solved :)
 
Thanks guys. I should have added that the software is needed for installation on a MacBook.
 
You get Mac & PC versions on the disks :)
 
My 40d user manual has fallen apart at the spine (women read them you see! ;) ) Anyone know where I can buy another from?? :thinking:
