Just received my M50 this afternoon and i have one quick question. Is there a remote release that can be used with it, If not how do you take long exposure pictures?
Well you could use a smartphone for remote shooting. This works over Bluetooth and works really well IME.
As much as i loved my (2) 70-200 f/4 lenses i find my 70-300L to be more versatile for me, plus it packs down smaller for travelling. I dont miss f/4 at all.
out of interest guys of those that have bought the "50" why this and not the "5". is it 4k or price or something else?

could you elaborate please mate? I guess the 5 must have some more advanced features or is that not true?i like new things lol.
Some of the newer features were what persuaded me to get the M50.

It's a good camera I moved from fuji and picked up an M50 and M100. Signed up to Hdew newsletter and got £25 off a £300 and over spend. I actually paid £425 and got the kit with the 22mm.tempted by the M100 with 15-45 £329, seems a good price for it
funny, watching my finger press the enter button on an M100 with 15-45 and 50gig canon cloud storage for £329 del.didnt seem to be able to stop it ,ah well.![]()
