I've seen some examples of images taken with it and it seems decent enough quality, even using the ring light. It's a 45mm equivalent so good all round focal length. I do wonder how many people would go for it above the 22mm though. The IS will be welcome and may help to make up the F stop difference. The thing I like about this lens is it gives you lots of options, especially if you are on your travels. It can do "street", it can do portraits, it can do Landscape, and it can also do the little details you might spot. You can even throw a little light on the subject if needed. It' a perfect lens for product shots (if you are selling stuff on ebay).
I would buy one, but with my range of current macros and already owning the 22mm (and 11-22) I'm not sure what else it brings to the table for me. There are a few other lenses I would like before this one, though they are much more expensive. I can wait. I may pick up a
second hand one at some point or grab one if I come across a decent deal. I think it will be a good seller in general though and certainly offers a lot of bang for your buck.
