canon eos 550 d or nikon d90?

Hello! Which do you think is better? I just got my 550d last month but one of my friends told me that i had a wrong choice cause nikon d90 is better.

Btw, i only have 18-55 mm kit lens. Should i buy another lens? And what lens?

Very debatable. They're both great cameras. Enjoy it.

As for lenses, what do you want to shoot?

the 550D is a great camera no much difference there especially if you're a beginner

I'd go with the budget you have for additional lenses.

If you intend buying £100-£250 lenses, perhaps Nikon is a better choice.

Upwards of that then both will be equal!
