Canon EOS 40D launch date leaked

Fairly average list of upgrades though, not sure it'd be enough to tempted most 20D users really. The extra MP aren't much of an advantage, DIGIC III will be more interesting to investigate, Spot Metering is present on the 30D and dust removal is no big deal in my opinion - I've never had to clean a sensor yet!

Now, where's the 6D / 5D mk2 ;)

You either have a filthy sensor and don't know it or you are very lucky.:nuts:
 
This was linked to a couple of weeks back.
The other night though I had a thought (But forgot to post it).

Look at the second image. Imagine if that was a proper product shot. It'd be quite crap wouldn't it. Who shoots the bottom of a camera? That made me go "hmmmm" in a big way.

When changing a lens, which I'd say I do a lot less than most (thankfully I have/had two bodies so don't need to do much of it), I do it quickly, camera face down, NEVER in a dusty environment and get it done as fast as possible.

It's not a foolproof method, as I'm sure one day I shall see those tell-tale specs, but it's worked for me so far on a couple of 20D bodies and one 30D.

So the real difference is the Digi III, and using the 400D's Sensor.

30D already have spot metering and 5fps with 2.5" LCD has it not ?

This seems like a less improvement from the 20D to the 30D.
