Morning all,
Does anyone know if you can get an old EOS 3 serviced, preferably at a reasonable price / not the price of a replacement in the UK?
I have a couple of EOS 3’s and one of them, the focus is well out, it took me a couple of rolls of film to notice, but basically the actual focus is behind the area that you’re focusing on. I don’t use the eye jobby on either of my EOS 3’s, I use single point AF, and the camera’s AF shows that it’s in focus (just the developed film is out).
I’ve just tested this with both Canon and Sigma lenses at different apertures to confirm the fault, which is significantly worse between F1.4 and F11 (understandably).
Any suggestions of someone who could take a look would be appreciated as cosmetically, it’s in perfect condition.
