Canon EOS 1000D Kit - £249 at ASDA
Not been on for a while, so here's a nice one to come back with...

The Canon EOS 1000D Kit (that's body and lens) has now been slashed in price instore at Asda. It retails at £369 at PCWorld, Comet, Currys, etc.

There was a few in my local, but you need to be quick on this.

(You also get a "free 50 photos" voucher)

Ideally, if you have an ASDA and a Comet/PC World/Currys, it's better to price match, and get another £12 off it (difference + 10%)

Wish I'd seen this deal earlier
Really regret selling my 1000D to fund my 50D. My mrs won't use the 50D but she was happy taking auto snaps with the 1000D.

Would have been a way to buy a cheap body to get her back into it

I saw this on hotukdeals and reading the comments, it seems a bit hit & miss as to which stores have stock.
