Yes
Last Friday I took my lens into Elstree, my son had been using it for a while and it was broken. Got it back today, fixed, new USM, new distance scale, new diaphragm, new power diaphragm, external clean, external switches cleaned, lubricated and calibrated. Fixed price repair 105 GBP incl vat and return courier. Bargain. Sometimes you can see why manufacturers charge a bit more for their products when their after sales are that good.

Yes agree they were excellent when they did my 100-400 on a fixed price service was like a new lens:)

When they serviced my 100-400 they replaced so many bits it ended up as new with even a new serial number - all on a "good will" basis so I only paid the standard fee. Absolutely excellent service!

28/135 IS f3.5/4.5 not the best lens in the world but nice walkabout on FF if you don't fancy lugging the 24/80 2.8 around :
My lad tends to give kit a hard time. Journalist that also takes snaps for his rag and does private stuff too when he's not working.
