Canon EF Lenses?

Will all of them AF on a 40D or is there such a thing as an EF lens that is 35mm only?
 
All EF lenses should work fine on a 40D and there is a EF35mm f2 and an EF35mm f1.4
 
If it is a Canon brand lens EF then yes, it will AF on a 40D
However some third party lenses will not either AF or in some casse stop the aperture down
 
I think by 35mm the OP means film cameras.

To my knowledge all EF and EF-S lenses work on 40D digital cameras.

I think Oldestwinger was referring to 35mm format, not focal length.

yes they do, i have a 35-135mm EF lens which was originally built for 35mm cameras and it works perfectly on my 400D and my friends 40D
