Jessops, at least the one in Basildon, are doing the Canon EF 2x Converter/Extender (mark II) for £149.99. A £100-£150 saving.

Don't know but it is in the display cabinet on show with a few fully boxed ones. Old stock as they are moving to the mk III?

Why not check your local store or how about ringing the Basildon store and get them to post it to you?
If push comes to shove you could ring and pay over the phone and I can collect and post to you if they wont. Their number is 01268 527752. Just reimburse me the postage.
