Canon DPP software help

I have been using the raw file on my 40D and when i adjust the white balence and saturation etc within DPP. then i do save and convert which outputs a jpg but this jpg doesn't seem to carry the adjustments that was made in the cr2 file.

can any one advise if i am missing some point.

do you convert and save as....????

probably not and re-looking at the original file... not the adjusted...?

For individual files as Martyn explained do your adjustments in DPP then convert and save.
Batch process also converts numerous edited files.

thats what i have been doing but the cr2 and jpg don't match. i changed the wb to the one that makes it blue and did the same convert and save as and i just got a normal coloured jpg without the blue haze WB.

Im confused
