I like the lens correction functions in DPP and like everything else in ACR.

Is it possible to save the lens corrected RAW directly, so when I open up the RAW in ACR all the lens correction changes come through?
 
why not try it and let us know the result?
Could interest a few of us who don't use DPP
 
Because I don't know how :)

It's easy to go from DPP to ACR as a tiff, but I want to keep it RAW between these two stages.
 
Sorry mate, can't be done.

DPP saves its edits in the proprietary parts of the Raw file that ACR doesn't read whilst ACR saves its edits in an XMP sidecar file that DPP won't read. Frustrating innit!

I love the correction tools, colour and sharpening in DPP but its frustrating that it can't recover highlights or allow straightening in the same way that ACR can.
