I'm wanting to send off my canon cashback letter and its addressed up and everything but its going to Ireland - can I stick a couple of first class stamps on there and will it get there okay or do I need to go to the post office and send it some other way?

What did other people do?

Cheers

Matt

You might get away with 2 stamps. My envelope came back saying 'not enough postage' (I had used just 1 first class stamp). So I went to the post office and they put an airmail stamp on it and another 1st class stamp. Probably worth going to the PO just to give you peace of mind. You don't want it coming back in a week's time.

Just to be difficult - with the EFS 60mm macro there was slightly more paperwork weight than with the 5d - x2 1st class for the camera and x3 1st class for the lens. The £35 arrived after 2 weeks - still waiting for the £200 though!!!!!! :-(

Just posted another one off for my #35 back on a 1.4 extender. Sit back and wait now.

Matt, when I sent mine off I thought how much I stood to lose if it got lost. It's worth paying a few quid to send it registered post especially if you're going to get back over £100 :)

Already sent it first class but cheers bink - I've had recorded things go missing, hell even special delivery isn't 100% safe.

We'll see what happens. Fingers crossed :)

I just banged on a 1st class for all my cash back forms and away they went in pats van.
