Regarding this promo, is it only for purchases from Canon authorised resellers listed on their website, or would buying an import model supplied with a full UK receipt (the same as their warranty requires) be OK? For example, a supplier such as HDEW (UK based, so all duty and VAT paid, but source stock internationally)

not sure but I suspect the fact that they require a serial number is the crunch part, if that number indicates other than UK or ROI then you would probably not get the cash back

2.1. To enter the promotion, the Participant must purchase a Promotional Product
within the UK or ROI during the Promotional Period AND submit a claim in
accordance with clause
 
In the past I have seen some UK suppliers put their prices up to cash in themselves.
 
The terms and conditions state it is a UK / EU sourced lens and one of their authorised resellers.

If HDEW have said their lenses do not qualify, as they are USA sought I think Ian's (Kerso) will be similar as I think his are USA sought as well...

Also not sure if it needs to be a fully boxed version or a white box, split from a kit would qualify - couldn't see anything to indicate it

This year should be no different, I have never had a buyer who hasn't received the cashback. If you are worried though you must go another route. I cannot guarantee 100%. Ian.
