Canon Cash back

After all I have gone through to get my cash-back it has not been credited to my bank account in the promised time scale and the ID code they gave me was not recognised on their site:(, (strangely, neither was the last one in the previous promotion) I followed the link to their customer services and filled in details of my claim on the form.

Re above I did not receive my cashback in the promised 20 days, I filled in their form on the site and now get this from them today..........

It is now as if I had only just applied and given me another 20 days with another reference number:bang::bang::bang:

Or it could be :banana::banana::banana: if I get it twice:)
 
I have now tried the second submission number they have given me and to my "surprise" it also is not recognised:bang::bang::bang:
 
Galaxy66 - My submission number doesn't work either. I too received the same e-mail a couple of days ago.

Waiting game i guess.

I bought my 40D about a month ago... Being the most unlucky person in the world, I got robbed about a week after getting it, before I even managed to insure it or even apply for the rebate. I've got the box and the receipt (on an email as I got it online) but as the serial number is on the camera I can't apply for the rebate :(
There are several barcode stickers and numbers on the box, anyone knows if any of them happens to be the serial number? Or is it only on the camera?
 
It's always been the top sticker on all my boxes.
 
Also just realised that that top sticker has two bar codes on it and the Camera Serial No. is the number between the two barcodes.
 
I've also been waiting since Xmas/new year week, sent them a email on Friday asking whats happening. Conveniently got a email from them this morning...

It took mine about 2 months to finally get sorted. They ain't the quickest of people.
 
Just got my cheque on Friday. £100 into my account.
Now it's there it probably will end up going against another lens or something!!!
