If you sometimes feel that your camera feels a bit small in your hands it's a no brainer. LOVE my grip on the 20d.

Only recently bought one off Ebay for my 400D, got it for 70, inc P&P AND two batteries (non canon, but they work just fine). I find it balances the camera better in my hands. Im no expert being an absolute beginner, but even to me it feels better.

They are very good and makes the camera feel a lot better to hold, I have one of my 350d and since buying it, it's never been off. Oh and with two batteries installed I've never run out of juice. I vote go for it ;)

May sound like a daft question but can you still use a tripod with the grip on or does it have to be taken off?

Yep you can still use a tripod, and even better, there is a shutter release button, dial and +/- buttons for when you are in portrait shooting too..

Yes, you can still use it on a triod as it has a 1/4 female in the correct place! Just remember that if you use a light tripod there will be extra weight on it! Same goes for ball heads, you will need to tighten your friction a little. Go for it, you won't regret it, I havn't!

I have a photographic memory that was never developed
