Canon and Sigma combo

I hope to sell my Sigma 70-200 F2.8 in the near future and replace it with a Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS MKII, question is will the Sigma 1.4 and Sigma 2.0 extenders i have work with the Canon lens or do i need to replace them as well?

they should still work on any canon ef lens

Not sure with Canon but with Nikon they only work on Sigma glass would be surprised if it is different with Canon.

I think i need to pop to Jessops and blag a try of the Canon glass!
