Hi there I have ordered a Canon 85mm f1.8 out my catalogue, which was due to be delivered by April 15th, but had a message to say there is a delay on it. It is coming direct from canon, I am wondering if the quakes in Japan have affected uk stock? Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Does look like its on backorder in a couple of websites. Amazon show they have only 1.

My girlfriend ordered a Nikkor 35mm f1.8 AF-S DX lens for me from Jessops on Saturday, it was meant to be next day delivery but she received an email to say there is a stock shortage due to the Quake in Japan. It could take 4-5 weeks to arrive. :o(

Looking on the Jessops site, the majority of lens's say out of stock usually available in 10 days, including my lens.

That said, she received an email this morning saying it's out for delivery! So hopefully will arrive today

Look at Warehouse Express' list of most popular Canon lenses - 7/10 out of stock.
