Canon 7DMk2 & 70D-Same sensor?

Just curious if these two cameras share the same sensor, as both 20.2 megapixels.

They say the sensor on the 7D mk ii is a better and new up to date one.

And now they (not Canon) say that the Dual Pixel sensor in the EOS M5 is slightly better.

The differences will be highly technical and are not usually released by Canon for public consumption.

Having owned a 70D and then replaced it with a 7D Mark II and then adding a M5 today, I think the answer is that all of Canon's Dual Pixel sensors are feckin' good!
