Canon 7D / Canon LPE6 Battery Question

Yup got my 1st one today and it does what it says on the tin.

Funny how it says Canon Inc made in Japan with further processed in China.

Why do I get the feeling they are back door specials from the factory.

I will be interested to find out if the second one has the same serial number.

I've been using mine for a while now along side the original in the handgrip.
It discharges at exactly the same rate as the original cell.
 
got mine today, fantastic.
 
Oh well guys with so many positive responses on here you've talked me into it. Used my Ebay plus points that I had earnt so only cost £6.26 in total including postage :D
 
I got a second one delivered this week from here. Have tried them both in the grip and get all the battery data (charge, shutter count etc) readout as per the original. Its hard to distinguish between original and these, there is a slight difference in the gloss of the blue label on the back, other than that they look the same. They apear to give the same length of use (shutter operations) as original, so for £20.00 you cant really complain.
