Yes
Anyone using one of these and how do you rate it. Have been hearing third hand (as in I read it somewhere etc) that they are super sharp a huge improvement on the older model and as sharp if not sharper than the f2.8 MKII. Hoping to hear from someone that acts has 1.

Was told there's a new model out
Maybe rumours

Yes indeed. Super sharp. An excellent lens. Conversely I'm looking to swap mine and get the 2.8 purely because I want the extra stop but in many ways I'll miss the f4. It is as good a lens as Canon make.

Seems he meant the IS as opposed to the non IS

Heard good reports about it. Thinking about selling my 135 f2 to put towards one

Now that's sharp

Its a great lens... for landscapes and some portraits. It really doesn't replace 135mm unless your priorities are also these. 135mm is a portrait bokeh monster, also incredibly sharp but without IS.

Yes the 135 is really sharp but I have 3 other primes. I do some landscapes and a bit of wildlife. Just miss that bit of reach beyond 135.

Excellent lens and weather sealed too, IS can be a bit noisy, only noticeable indoors though.

Keep intending to sell mine now I have gone over to Fuji, this thread has given me the kick up the backside needed to get it sorted out

Interested in a 135 f2 lol

Finally got round to listing mine in the classifieds, best lens image quality wise I have ever owned

See that hopefully my 135f2 sale completes tonight
