Yes
I know this topic has been covered before, but does anyone actually use the Kenko super dg 1.4 with a Canon 70-200 for football?

The reason I ask, is I dont seem to get the reach with a 70-200 lens, & I was thinking of getting the Kenko TC.

Any pictures with the above combo??;)

Thanks in advance

If I was you I would get the Canon 1.4 X converter and use it with the lens.

Both pictures are with the Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS USM L with Canon 1.4 X converter

Another vote for the Canon 1.4 x here. I used it with my 70-200 when I started covering football, before I moved onto other lenses and had many a pic published from it.

yeh i use the 2X canon extender with the 70-200mm f2.8... and will be looking for a 1.4X shortly, loss in quality is bearly noticeable...

Thanks for taking the time to post gentleman.
Nice sharp pictures.

I suppose I'd better start saving!:gag:

yes mate start saving the 1.4 is a very good converter imho ..

no point paying alot of money on a great lens then stiking a bit of plastic in front of it.. if you know what i mean..

Another one for recommending the Canon extender for the reasons stated above..

Interesting this. Would you guys recommend the Canon over the Kenko Pro 300 teleconvertors.
I've heard good things about both (on here) and the Kenko is far cheaper.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers
Ian..
