canon 70-200 2.8 or sigma that is the question

I am a newbie from swansea, just come back from focus and made my decision , well sort of anyway. Hvae decided to buy a 70-200 2.8 lens anyone have any experience of these lenses?

Well, as a Canon fan I'd have to say, budget allowing, go for the Canon. Difference is around 400 £, but I usually feel that when it comes to lenses, go for the best you can afford.

Anyway, am a bit jealous ;-). That is a mighty fine lens, you'll be able to shoot some great stuff! I have that one on my wanted list...
