Canon 6D CR2 and Lightroom

Hey all,

I've just replaced my 600D with a 6D and my version of Lightroom 3.4 is no longer compatible with my Canon's 6D files.

I was going to buy Lightroom 5 but realised it requires Windows 7 or 8 and I'm on the god-awful Vista.

If I buy Lightroom 4.4 will it work with my 6D's CR2 files?

I don't fancy upgrading my OS just for Lightroom but I feel like I've got little choice ATM......

I think 4.3 onwards supports 6D files, so you should be fine.

4.4 on the mac supports 6D raw, I'd assume the Windows version would too.

Or you could convert to DNG files and save yourself the upgrade

I'm working with 6D CR2 files in Lightroom 4.4 - no problems.
