As mentioned above, Canon 650d body is in todays black friday deals on amazon, they sometimes have a good saving so it may be worth a look.

Deal starts at 1230 with the usual limited availability etc.

Most items seem to be going for around 10 - 20% discount, so I imagine with the cashback you could be looking at a £100+ saving on amazons already keen prices.
 
Why - is it one of the upcoming deals?
 
It would need to be 285 for the body to better the 650 + 18-135mm STM kit I have my eye on

Oh lol, that went ridiculously fast, I bet they only had 2 or 3 available :lol:

I don't know about you guys, but I've been left feeling rather underwhelmed by todays black friday deals, hopefully they will get better as the week goes on, but a disappointment compared to last year so far.
 
They seem about on par, but I suspect things that haven't shifted during the run up to Friday will be cheaper then.

Edit: Still better than Comets deals :)

My browser doesn't refresh quick enough for these deals, sometimes they appear with the price as 100% claimed... oh well.

Mine didn't seem to either, hit claim deal as soon as it appeared so I could have a closer look at price etc. and it ended up adding me to the waiting list in position 191
 
lol, sound just like last year - there were only a couple of things I wanted and both did the same to me.

I know people try and cheat - from what I read last year even things like setting your system clock a few seconds early to make the browser refresh. It seems a lot of people just hit the add button to almost anything too so as to grab the real bargains and sell back on ebay.
 
I wonder if the 650D will be on again later in the week? I'm sorry I missed it. I'm thinking of buying from Panamoz or Digitalrev instead now.
 
Just wait it out, you never know. A few more days of waiting to check the deals won't hurt.
 
Panamoz have the 650D and 18-55 IS II lens for sale at £446 + p&p all the time, which would work out to £433.20 delivered if you pay by bank transfer and get their 5% discount. And that doesn't even depend on any different coloured days that amazon rely on.
 
Yes, I think I'll go for the 650D from Panamoz with the 18-135mm for £626 once payday comes. That is if Amazon don't feature it again, I would prefer Amazon if possible though just for the UK warranty, also I think you can claim the £50 cash back if bought from Amazon so that would bring the price down below Panamoz for the 18-55 kit.

Work out how long it takes to reload and try clicking that much earlier.

I managed to get one of the 240gb Kingston SSDs for £99 which is good but the list was full a second later.
